Tekniti terms of service

In effect from 22 August 2026. We give at least 30 days’ notice of any material change.

Tekniti is operated by Tekniti.AI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15185597). Our registered office is 10 Hubert Road, Wellingborough, NN8 6DA, United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the service you (“the customer”) agree to these terms.

Tekniti is software that helps UK letting agents and landlords track and discharge their compliance obligations: automated reminders, statute-referenced guidance, document generation, an audit record and an AI assistant.

Tekniti does not collect rent on your behalf, hold client money, or publish listings to property portals. It records and tracks what you do; the money continues to move between you and your tenants directly.

Tekniti is decision-support software, not a substitute for professional legal advice. Statutory references, penalty figures, notices and AI answers are guidance and may not reflect your circumstances or the latest law. You remain responsible for your own compliance and should take qualified advice on contentious matters before acting.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into contracts. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for the accuracy of the information you give us.

Fees are charged monthly or annually in advance on your chosen plan. Prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT at the prevailing UK rate; your invoice shows the VAT element separately. Card payments are processed by Stripe. If a payment fails we will tell you and may suspend access after 14 days.

You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. We do not refund part months. After cancellation you can export your data for 30 days before it is deleted.

For personal data about tenants, guarantors and other third parties that you upload, you are the controller and Tekniti is the processor. The terms of that processing are in our Data Processing Agreement, and what we do with data is set out in our privacy notice.

Tekniti and its content, features and functionality are owned by Tekniti.AI Ltd. Your data remains yours; you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tekniti.AI Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data or business opportunity. Our total liability will not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
